I decided at the grand old age of 50 to have a career change and having wanting to be a dog groomer for years, chose Barking Marvellous. From start to finish they were helpful and accommodating, Sarah and Jo were patient, calm and gave me so much encouragement that my time learning with them was so enjoyable. I ​had an amazing time at Barking Marvellous, where I recently did the 30 day iPet Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming. The course tutors, Jo & Sarah, are amazing teachers and offer ongoing support ​to help you grow as a professional groomer. They are fun to work with and give great advice and feedback. I have never trained or been in such a positive and fun teaching environment before. If anyone is looking into doing a dog grooming course, this is the best place to go. As a bonus they also make a good cup of tea! On completing the course, I have gone on to secure a part time position within a salon

I completed the iPet Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming & Salon Management with Sarah & Jo at Barking Marvellous. The best thing about this course is the fact that you are so hands from Day 1! You learn all aspects of dog grooming, from washing and prepping the dog, through to doing full grooms on a number of different breeds - pet trims and breed standard. Sarah and Jo are just fantastic! They are patient and make you feel totally at ease, coaching you through every step and help to build your confidence from week to week. Since graduating from Barking Marvellous, I am now self-employed in an established salon and love every minute of my new career!
